Weekly wishlist Vol. I

Hello! I thought it would be a good idea to show you items I see in the stores and I would like to buy… if I could buy everything  ;P I could write this kind of post every week because I see stuff that I like almost everyday hehe. For sure it happen the same to you, and you have fashion wishlists that never end ;)

¡Hola! Creo que es una buena idea enseñaros las cositas que voy viendo en las tiendas y que me gustaría comprar… ¡Si pudiera comprar todo lo que me gusta! ;P Soy capaz de escribir este tipo de post semanalmente porque veo cosas que me gustan casi cada día… no tengo remedio jeje. Seguro que a muchas de vosotras os pasa lo mismo y tenéis listas que nunca se acaban, como las mías ;)

Challenging rain

I took these pictures last Sunday, even if it was not the best day to do it… because it was raining! That’s the reason why my eyes are kind of close: while we were taking the pictures the rain drops were entering into my eyes! Anyway, here they are. The top I bought it some weeks ago in Massimo Dutti (Inditex).  I was not too fan of this store because the style is more serious than Zara’s… but honestly the quality is much higher (the prices a bit more expensive too). When I saw this lace top I just couldn’t avoid buying it, it was in my last summer’s wish list!

Hicimos estas fotos el domingo pasado, aunque no era el mejor día para hacerlas porque llovía. Os preguntaréis por qué tengo los ojos tan cerrados pero es que las gotas de agua me entraban dentro ;P De todas maneras, aquí están las fotos. El top lo compré hace unas semanas en Massimo Dutti… no era muy fan de esta tienda porque el estilo es un poco más serio que el de Zara, pero la verdad la calidad es mucho mejor (también es un pelín más caro). Y en cuanto vi este top de encaje no pude evitar comprarlo y es que ¡tenía que ser mío! De hecho, estaba en mi wish list el verano pasado!

Rockabilly

Good morning!

I hope Easter is going great, especially for the lucky ones who are already on holidays! In my case, I’m looking forward for Thursday ;)

Today I show you one more B&W outfit. I have chosen my striped shirt but I have decided to wear it differently, on top of a t-shirt. For those who have been following me, you already know that I love this combo; actually it’s one of my favorites. I also love the «rock trend», it doesn’t matter if it’s trendy or not, I always find it nice. And I love skulls as well!!!

¡Buenos días!

Espero que la Semana Santa haya empezado con buen pié, ¡especialmente para aquellos que ya están de vacaciones! En mi caso, estoy deseando que llegue el Jueves ;)

Hoy os enseño otro look en blanco y negro, aunque esta vez he decidido combinar mi camisa de rayas de otra manera: abierta y encima de una camiseta. ¿Qué os parece? Aquellos que me hayáis estado siguiendo últimamente, ya os habréis dado cuenta de que me gusta mucho el estilo rockero, no me importa si está de moda o no, a mi siempre me parece ideal. ¡Y también me encantan las calaveras!

Neon shirt

A quick post today just to show you an outfit I was wearing last weekend. I bought this neon yellow shirt few weeks ago and I think I’m going to take a lot of advantage of it. I have the perception that it matches with everything!

Btw, this week I have received very good news: one of my best friends is getting married! I’m very exited about it because she is my first friend who is going to get married. As you can imagine, I am already thinking in what I am going to wear :) It will be in October, so I still have time to look for the perfect dress :)

Un post rápido hoy para enseñaros un look que llevé el finde pasado. Me compré esta camisa amarilla neón hace unas semanas y creo que me la voy a poner un montón, ¡tengo la impresión de que pega con todo!

Por cierto, esta semana he recibido una muy buena noticia: ¡una de mis mejores amigas se casa! Estoy muy emocionada porque es mi primera amiga que se va a casar y, como os podéis imaginar, ya estoy pensando en qué me voy a poner :) Como será en Octubre, aún tengo tiempo para buscar el vestido :)

Beauty tips Vol. II

So here we go with the second beauty post! The idea is to share with you my opinion about cosmetics I’ve tried, I hope you find it useful :) These are mi latest beauty acquisitions:

Aquí está el segundo post de belleza :) La idea es compartir con vosotr@s mi opinión sobre cosméticos que he probado, ¡espero que os sea útil! Estas son mis últimas adquisiciones:

Let’s start with the Serum Visionnaire from Lancôme: I cannot say a lot about it because I have been using it for a week only. But I can tell you for sure that my skin looks much better since I’ve started using it :) It has a triple effect: corrects wrinkles, minimizes pores and unifies the skin. The price is average taking into account it is a serum and normally they are expensive. I will keep you updated about its effects!

Empezamos con el suero Visionnaire de Lancôme: No os puedo decir mucho todavía de él porque sólo lo he usado durante una semana, lo que sí os puedo decir es que mi piel está mucho mejor desde que empecé a usarlo. Tiene un triple efecto: corrige arrugas, minimiza poros y unifica la piel. El precio es normalito teniendo en cuenta que los sueros son siempre caros. Os mantendré informadas sobre cómo me va!

Then the eye cream from Herborist, did you know this brand? It is based on the Chinese ancestral natural medicine and here in Spain it can be found in Sephora stores only. This eye cream is made for the first eye-wrinkles and it has a re-energizing effect. I’m quite happy with it even if don’t really notice the re-energizing effect (I use to have dark rings under my eyes). The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t leave you the smooth effect after usage (I use to make up my eyes with concealer in the mornings after applying the eye cream, and I have problems to spread the concealer because the skin doesn’t seem to be moisturized). 

Luego el contorno de ojos de Herborist, ¿conocíais la marca? Sus productos están basados en la medicina natural China y aquí en España sólo se vende en tiendas Sephora. Este contorno está hecho para primeras arrugas y tiene un efecto re-energizante. La única desventaja es que no deja una sensación de «piel hidratada» después de usarlo (por las mañanas suelo maquillarme el contorno con corrector después de usar la crema y me cuesta extenderlo porque la piel no parece estar totalmente hidratada).

And finally the Benefit’s mini case Finding Mr. Bright… even I LOVE this brand, don’t buy this product! In my opinion, two out of four products inside are not worthy. I love the Erase Paste (which is a very good concealer) and the High Beam (a brightener), but honestly the blush Posie Tint is too pink and I never notice whether I wear the brightener Girl Meets Pearl or not…

Y finalmente el mini cofre de Benefit Finding Mr. Bright… aunque esta marca me ENCANTA, ¡no compréis este producto! En mi opinión, dos de los cuatro productos de dentro no valen la pena. Me encanta el corrector Erase Paste y el iluminador High Beam, pero sinceramente el colorete líquido Posie Tint es demasiado rosa y nunca noto el efecto del otro iluminador Girl Meets Pearl…

Navajo Cardigan

I love the ethnic trend, which comes from time to time. But this spring/summer is going to hit the shops and the streetstyle. Today I show you a look in which the main player is a «navajo cardigan». Few weeks ago, I saw a girl wearing it at Chicisimo and I really liked it. The link of the garment was directed to Sheinside.com and it was like 40 USD (I wish I had the printscreen but it isn’t in stock anymore). I decided to have a look at Sammydress.com and here there was, exactly the same cardigan but for four times less. If you like it, you can purchase it just for 9 USD HERE.

Me gusta mucho la tendencia étnica, que viene de tanto en tanto. Pero esta primavera/verano va a pegar con fuerza en las tiendas y el streetstyle. Hoy os enseño un look en el que el protagonista es un «cárdigan navajo». Hace unas semanas, lo vi en un outfit en Chicisimo y me encantó. El link de la prenda te redirigía a Sheinside.com y costaba unos 35-40 € (me encantaría haber hecho un «imprimir pantalla» para enseñároslo pero el cárdigan ya no está en stock). Decidí que antes de comprarlo echaría un vistazo a Sammydress.com por si las moscas… y ahí estaba, exactamente el mismo cárdigan cuatro veces más barato. Spring is coming

Hello guys! I know I’ve been very inactive and I’m sorry! I’m so busy during the week, working and studying my master that I have almost any free time so I have to take all the pictures during the weekend. Luckily this situation is going to end in two months when I finish my master and I’m really looking forward to it :)

This weekend the weather has been amazing, a lot of sun and hot temperatures. We felt it was almost summer! Thus I’ve decided to take this white blazer out of my wardrobe. As it is made by linen I only can wear it when the temperatures start to rise. The t-shirt I found it in the latest days of sales at Pull&Bear, isn’t it cute? It cost only €3! I love these kind of bargains, don’t you? They make you leave the store with a smile on your face :D

¡Hola chic@s! Sé que he estado muy inactiva por aquí, lo siento! Entre semana estoy muy ocupada entre el trabajo y los estudios, casi no tengo tiempo libre así que tenemos que hacer todas las fotos durante el finde. Por suerte esta situación acabará en dos mesecitos cuanto acabe el master, tengo unas ganas…!!!

Este fin de semana el tiempo ha sido increíble, muy soleado y con mucho calor. Casi parecía que estábamos en verano! Por eso decidí sacar del armario esta blazer blanca, como es de lino sólo la puedo llevar cuando hace buen tiempo. Y la camiseta es una de las últimas compras de rebajas y sólo me costo 3 €!!! A quién no le encantan estos chollos, te hacen salir de la tienda con una sonrisa en la cara :D

Pink + Oxblood

Today I show you one the last sheltered outfits of the season, I am crossing my fingers for the weather to get better the next weeks! It has been a very windy weather in Barcelona and on Sunday afternoon I chose this outfit to go to have a coffee with some friends. The blazer is one of my most beloved sales acquisitions and I absolutely love it! I is also 100% made by wool and even if I wear it without a coat I feel warm enough. I also wanted to give a touch of spring inspiration by choosing a soft pink handbag when I have normally chosen a black one. But the pink and oxblood (the new name for burgundy…) combo will be a trend for this spring season and I have to say that I love how these two colors look like together. And you, what do you think? Hoy os quiero enseñar uno de los últimos (espero) looks abrigaditos de esta temporada, cruzo mis dedos para que el tiempo mejore las próximas semanas! Ha sido un finde con mucho viento en Barcelona y el domingo por la tardé elegí este outfit para tomar un café con amigos. La blazer es una de mis adquisiciones rebajiles más amadas, simplemente me encanta! Además está hecha de lana 100%, así que la puedo llevar sin abrigo sin pasar frío. Le he querido dar un toque primaveral al look eligiendo un bolso rosita cuando normalmente habría elegido uno negro. Pero la combinación rosa + oxblood (el nuevo nombre del color burgundy…) será una tendencia para esta primavera y la verdad es que nunca lo hubiera pensado, pero me encanta como quedan estos dos colores juntos. Awesome 3D manicure by Ciaté

I don’t know if you have already heard about the caviar manicure (probably you did) but when my friends gave me this for my birthday, it was my first time. But as soon as I opened the box I knew I was going to like it a lot! Today I want to show you my first time doing this kind of manicure step by step. I hope you like the final result! 

No sé si ya habías oído hablar de la manicura de caviar (probablemente sí) pero para mí fue la primera vez cuando mis amigas me lo regalaron para mi cumple. Aunque tan pronto como abrí la caja supe que me iba a gustar un montón! Hoy quiero compartir con vosotr@s la primera vez que lo utilizo, paso a paso. ¡Espero que os guste el resultado!

As you can see it is a very cute box in which one can find eight different nail polishes: four standard and four «caviar» ones (the last are not exactly nail polish, they contain micro-balls instead). 

Como véis la cajita es muy mona y cuando la abres puedes encontrar ocho esmaltes de uñas: cuatro normales y cuatro de caviar (los últimos no son esmaltes sino micro bolitas).

For my first caviar manicure I chose the silver/white combo :)

Para mi primera manicura de caviar escogí la combinación plata/blanco :)

Step 1: Apply the silver nail polish on all your nails.

Paso 1: Aplicar el esmalte plateado en todas tus uñas.

Step 2: Apply the white caviar nail polish on the top when the silver one is still wet. In my case, I did it on just one nail. You need to do it putting the plastic tray underneath. After that, press the micro-balls with your finger and… this is how it looks like :)

Paso 2: Aplicar el esmalte blanco de caviar encima cuando el plateado aún está húmedo. En mi caso, elegí aplicarlo sólo en una uña. Tenéis que hacerlo poniendo la bandejita de plástico debajo. Después presiona las bolitas con el dedo y… así es como queda :)

Step 3: Put the small black funnel inside the bottle, so you can easily the micro-balls left and use them for next time!

Paso 3: Poner el embudo negro pequeño dentro de la botellita, así podemos recuperar facilmente las bolitas que nos han sobrado para usarlas la próxima vez!

If you want them to last longer, just add a layer of colorless nail polish on the top :)

Si queréis que os duren más, añadir una capa de brillo encima :)
